Semester Wrap Up

Overall This year in Multimedia has been hard work. I feel this way only because I'm not a computer person and I'm not even sure how I managed to complete all of my work. I learned how to use software in my computers to complete projects, tests, and tasks.I also learned how to use Photoshop, Sketch up, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe illustrator and Microsoft word. My most difficult assignments were the animation, a lakeside bungalow, and wireless phone. Creating these assignments were very time consuming. Multimedia has really taught me to be patient.

#27 Making a brochure with Publisher & Wrap up for Spring Semester

In this task, we were assigned to make a brochure in publisher on our school schedule . We had to pick out a brochure we wanted and then follow the steps Ms. Wang gave to us. We had to write a little about ourselves, describe each class, and write the school's information. After we finished our brochure we had to print it. In my opinion, this assignment was way to long it took me 3 days searching for pictures and writing descriptions.

#26 Showcase (Photoshop TEST) Day 3

In this assignment, we were assigned to create showcase using Photoshop. This was a test it was very  hard.  We used tools like the rectangular marquee to create the lighting and the background of the canvas. Finally we used the ellipse tool and the layer styles to create an effect on the showcase and changed the opacity to make lighting. At the end, we placed our object that we wanted to showcase below the lighting.

#25 Animation Day 3

Now I'm finished with this assignment and this is the final outcome. We used Photoshop to create an animation button. To create an animated button go to Window and then animation to start making this button. After learning how to make things animated I also learned the use of using a .GIF . This type of software is for animation. I learned a lot in this assignment.

#24 3d effect in Photoshop

In this task we learned how to use photoshop to make a picture 3D in this case we made the house we created in Photoshop 3D. We had to choose a location for your house and open both .jpg's in Photoshop, the house and we set the foreground blue by checking off the red channel. Then duplicate the and check off G and B.  Lastly just move the last layer a little and your done.

In this task we learned how to use sketchup for the first time . We learned how to use the shapes like circle and rectangle to create our first name and we used the push/pull tool as well to make our name pop out. In this practice we learned how to go from a simple 2D shape to a 3D shape. We learned how to use the eraser to correct any errors we did.

In this assignment  I use  the minus  front,  divide, and ellipse tool.  These effects change the visual of two shapes that are together. Changing the outline of it better prepared me for the phone assignment.

This is a phone I created using Adobe illustrator. For this project I used offset path, gradient, shape creator (rectangle, Square, circle), ellipse tool, minus front tool,distort, and transform tool. This project involved a lot of steps and took 4 days for me to complete.

#17 Skin filter

In this project I learned to ad a soft focus effect to a portrait. This minimizes skin imperfections but also adds a romantic glow.

For this I learned how to quick mask. Quick mask lets you create a ready-made mask which you can edit or turn into a selection by painting black or white, I used White.

#13 Change One Thing

For this assignment I created a poster promoting healthy eating. Using Photoshop helped me to change some of the features in my poster. I used the magic wand, lasso tool, and the text box.

#12 Texture Layers

 I used Adobe Photoshop to change the original picture which I found on Google, I used the magnetic lasso for most of this process and the navigation tool. Then changed the opacity, so the model's dress would look more natural.
